Programme background and context on the framework of reference:
In today's complex and rapidly changing world, leaders must be ready to tackle a range of interconnected challenges that extend beyond their own organizations. They must strive for multiple outcomes that encompass economic, environmental, social, and governance aspects. The lessons learned from the Global financial crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the impacts of climate change have emphasized the importance of this holistic approach.
These unexpected and pressing situations must be promptly addressed as they can result in (i) difficulties with growth and expansion, such as decreased revenue, funding, customers, and profitability, and (ii) systemic challenges that affect the adaptability, productivity, and sustainability of business institutions/organizations.
They go above and beyond the daily responsibilities of business leaders. In today's complex business landscape, leaders face a multitude of governance, risk, and accountability challenges. These challenges arise from the need to achieve multiple outcomes that go beyond the organization's own resources. To overcome this, leaders must foster collaboration, build partnerships and engage with stakeholders at various levels, from local to global.
In order to thrive in this context, leaders in business institutions and organizations must possess An extensive and comprehensive governance, risk, and accountability framework designed to facilitate the attainment of four crucial objectives in Strategic Management and Leadership: (i) Facilitating collaboration among various stakeholders to achieve a unified objective and a collective vision (ii) Cultivating shared values as means of fostering cooperation among diverse stakeholders and interdisciplinary teams (iii) Facilitating engagement and cooperation with other stakeholders to leverage resources and accomplish various objectives (iv) Enabling and supporting other actors to ensure the successful attainment of sustainable development outcomes.
Intended Audience:
This program is designed for senior managers, executives, and board members who are responsible for creating and executing policies, projects, and programs that aim to address various interconnected objectives. The focus is on achieving measurable and sustainable development outcomes, including environmental, social, and governance outcomes.
This program is centered on the Wheel of Leaders Effectiveness, a unique framework that addresses risk, accountability, and governance from multiple levels and dimensions. With over 20 years of extensive research, design, and development, the framework has gained widespread adoption for effectively supporting the design, development, and execution of policies, strategies, projects, and programs. The framework has gained significant traction among businesses, institutions, and organizations as leadership teams recognize its value in comprehending the dynamics of various actors, including individuals, organizations, and communities, at local, national, regional, and even global levels. The framework goes beyond the current Meso-level dashboard, which primarily focuses on internal operations within organizations and institutions. With a strong governance, risk, and accountability structure, clear roles and responsibilities, and a robust informational flow system, the framework is designed to support effective decision-making processes.
