The Index of Leadership Decision Effectiveness
Leaders accomplish work through working with followers and other actors who have different world views. Leadership decision making effectiveness (”The How”- Behaviour or Competence for - “leaders”) is evaluated and measured on basis of the leader’s ability to apply engaging, developing, enabling and empowering decision making process. The aim is to facilitate enactment of both Self-Leadership and Shared Leadership which are important for promoting altruistic behaviours, inward job crafting and commitment to citizenship behaviours.

1 - Embryonic: almost absent at this time or shows a very basic level of development.
2 - Developing: present but in a rudimentary stage of development.
3 - Moderately developed: developing but there is a major need for further strengthening
4 - Well developed: high level but there are still some significant opportunities for strengthening
5 - Highly developed: reflects best practice, maximum level of development.
